In a setting of ultimate riverside luxury, Queensland Brides was recently treated to an exceptional media evening at Customs House – one of Brisbane’s iconic riverside wedding venues.
The who’s who of the Brisbane wedding industry mingled and mixed over delectable food and wine with a riverside cocktail party that kicked off the evening, before an intimate fashion parade featuring gorgeous gowns from local Brisbane designers, George Wu and Darb Bridal Couture. There was also bespoke men’s fashion by Wil Valour modelled by none other than real wedding couple and Insta-celebs, Taylor Fielding and Matt Joudo.
The fun continued as we headed inside to Custom’s House River Room to be wined and dined in an atmosphere of pure elegance, creatively styled by Athena Amarandos from Celebrating in Style and Geraldine Hore from Bouquet Boutique.
The evening was beautifully captured by Brisbane’s very own photographic super-star, Marcus Bell from Studio Impressions (highlights below!) – and we’re giving a ves a special shout-out to Brian Roberts and his Customs House team for pulling off such a successful event. Well done, guys!
This media evening preluded the venue’s annual showcase event, The One, which was held the following night and featured a hand-picked collection of wedding vendors in an intimate style wedding showcase. SAVE THE DATE: The One event will be held again in January 2019.
