Aw, we can’t help but fall for this super-cute couple. Meeting through mutual friends way back in 2006 at a Normanby Hotel Sunday session, Emma and Stephen had to wait a little while for their love story to officially begin. Wanting to focus on herself, Emma stayed friends with Stephen over the next three years. Then (as you might have guessed), she decided to take the leap and they both fell head-first in love. How sweet!
Going on to become engaged while sharing a romantic picnic in Brisbane’s River Quay, the two opted to showcase their hometown for their special day. “”We wanted Brisbane highlighted as the backdrop for the festivities,” says Emma. Tying the knot in a heartfelt church ceremony on April 26, 2019, Emma and Stephen celebrated the occasion with a colourful city-central reception. “The Sky Room Terrace at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre really allowed us to show off Brisbane. It has the most amazing city skyline views!”
Keeping things relaxed and fun, the newlyweds popped the Champagne corks and hit the dance-floor with loved ones. “Spending the day sharing the love with our family and friends is truly what made it a great day,” says Emma. “We were just so excited to cement our love with marriage after being together for nearly 10 years!” A spectacular wedding for a spectacular love…
