We love celebrations that showcase couples’ personalities and this Brisbane wedding certainly did that! Lovers of the city’s Eat Street Markets, Rachelle and Jamie held their reception at the beloved spot after saying “I do” at the picturesque Northsore Park nearby. “We wanted our wedding day to be young at heart, fun, and relaxed – much like us,” says Rachelle.
Treating guests to delicious fare straight from the markets, the couple fit in time for some exploring and made one little girl’s day. “So many people congratulated us and were clapping for us as we walked around, even the food vendors in their stalls were yelling out and cheering,” says Rachelle. “A lady came up to us with her daughter because she wanted to say ‘hi’ – she thought I was a real princess! It was little moments like these that really made the day feel even more special than it already was!”
Joining friends and family in Eat Street’s waterside Riverdeck, Rachelle and Jamie enjoyed a reception inspired by another one of their favourite things. “We have always loved being outdoors and looking up at the stars, so we chose a silver and navy night sky look,” says Rachelle. “It was so quirky and different, we loved it!” So. Much. Fun!
