A gorgeous setting, equally gorgeous blooms, a fun-filled reception and plenty of heart – it’s a combination that often makes for the most amazing celebrations. Ticking all these boxes, Rebecca and Justin’s special day brought together family and friends for one seriously lovely wedding.
It was all a matter of good timing for these two sweethearts. Both coming out of long-term relationships (and admittedly ready to stop searching for love), Rebecca and Justin noticed a connection when their paths crossed at work. Just a year later, the two were engaged and excited to plan their special day… in just eleven weeks’ time! “I actually can’t recommend it enough,” laughs Rebecca. “We were lucky that there were so many amazing vendors at our fingertips, it all just came together!” We’re definitely impressed!
Putting together an incredible celebration, the couple escaped to the stately Glengariff Historic Estate for a winter wedding in the sunshine. Surrounded by loved ones and sweeping mountain views, Rebecca and Justin made things official with a little help from someone special. “My brother-in-law actually married us,” says Rebecca. “It’s not every day you get your own family to marry you – so special!”
Watching on, three VIP guests helped make the day even more special. “Justin has three of the most beautiful children and they are his absolute world,” explains Rebecca. “We couldn’t think of anyone more special to be his ‘grooms-people’ on the day.” Aw, so sweet!
With the formalities taken care of, the newlyweds wandered Glengariff’s grounds for photos before joining guests for a sensational reception. Hitting the dance floor and cutting into a scrumptious cake (made by the bride’s friend, no less), Rebecca and Justin lapped up plenty of time with their favourite people. “It was amazing to be surrounded by our beautiful friends and family who have gone through life with us and helped shaped our lives,” says Rebecca. “We are super blessed!”
